Wizards and Wagons App Reviews

Very frustrating

Waste of money. The game starts off very difficult. Its also not logic why lots of goods are already available while theres no wagon offering enough space to even deliver one piece.

Quest dont work

the quests from the guild does not complete if you finish the task.

Excellent Trader Game

Ive been hoping for a real trader game on iOS. Most of the games in this genre are Freemium and boring. The creators of Autumn Dynasty of course make a core game experience. Theres always something interesting to do, good pacing, satisfying economics, RPG missions in towns and a cool storyline.

Sound Bug

There is a bug with the sound that even when you mute the sound in options you still hear when it is raining and when you pick up gold in between towns, but otherwise awesome game keep up the great work

Very slow progression leads to boredom

Do you enjoy going back and forth, earning very little money on each trip? If so, this game is for you. Takes forever to earn money. Boring.

Brutal!

This game is not fun....10 mins in the game and its already an agonizing chore. For the sake of simplicity, you scour the map to see each town is only selling weapons and cheese, and each town is only buying armour and milk. You can take quests to deliver items that your wagon isnt even large enough to hold yet. You get massive swarms of attackers and a pea shooter of a bow to hold them off with. Then pay for the damage to your wagon out of your minimal profit. The balance of risk and reward is totally insane. It feels like It should be this difficult at a time when Im making huge profits on a dangerous trade route later in the game. Right now Im getting 106 gold worth of wagon damage trying to make 100 gold profit by selling apples from the first town. That being said I still like the basic style of this. Definitely will wait to see if theres a drastic change before uninstalling.

Cool concept, great game!

-complicated world, rife with opportunities -interesting events and challenges -slightly unforgiving, especially at the beginning -mostly unguided play, I personally enjoy this aspect -well written settings, though could use more variety for the merchant screens -all and all its super fun

Perhaps too addictive

Once you get the hang of it. The hour melts away in pursuit of... Wealth. Have been battling hero homelessness for hours. Still homeless.

Dreadful

Im at a loss as to how this dismal "game" got 4.5 stars. Its a dreary, button mashing, defend your cart from bandits tedium. What a waste of my $$

I want to like it

It is "kinda" fun. But the button mashing required to fight leaves you getting damaged so much that you spend more money repairing than you make in profits from trading. There are quests that you can accept but most of them are for towns you havent discovered and there is a time limit or penalty for not reaching the time limit. I guess it is worth the 1.99 when compared to how much longer you could play this than a game at Dave and busters or whatever for the same cost.

Fun, some brainpower required

A great trading game with a little action and a lot of strategy. My first save file was a disaster, but once I got the hang of the game things went better. Keep trying, its definitely worth it!

Easily a Top5 for me

You can trade, fight n make town like you enough to get perks. 30k to buy a house. I make a better fighter then merchant.

Great Fun!

Loving this, super fun and very addicting ...didnt want to stop playing and get ready for work this morning. Playing on an original Ipad Mini and havent had the first issue...no crashing/lags/bugs .....so great to see a polished game without problems ....and one that works well on older devices :)

Wizards And Wagons

I jumped on this as soon as I found out it was released because I love the Autumn Dynasty series. And chances are, if you did as well, youll find Wizards & Wagons blend of real time battles while traveling and strategy within the towns quite comfortable. The mix of questing and trying to get the best deals on all your purchased/sold goods adds for quite a bit of depth in the strategy department. Upgrading and outfitting your wagon to take into battle adding another level to the strategy, especially as you get deeper into the game. If youre not a strategy fan, or havent really clicked with merchant/trade games in the past, dont let that put you off - its delivered here in a very casual way (with quick to read one screen how-tos that pop up whenever something new is available), pretty much giving you the option to decide how much depth you feel comfortable with. There isnt really a set time in which you need to get enough money to find your way home. There are timed quests, but youre not required to accept them. Youre basically in charge of how difficult or easy the game is, without sacrificing gameplay mechanics. The developers have done a wonderful job here, and with no IAP - its a game thats VERY VERY EASY to recommend to strategy/defense/merchant games.

WaW Rules!

It takes a few starts to get your uber-trader-battle-wagoner groove on, but once you do you cant stop playing. This games got the goods

Having a good time

Be sure to pay attention to what villagers say, because you can get absolutely destroyed by monsters if the road is dangerous

So boring

This has got to be one of the most boring, uninteresting games Ive ever played. Was broke with in a few minutes, lost all my goods because I couldnt afford to repair my wagon... yawn. I really wish I did buy this, what a waste of money. Uninstall.

Just one more time :D

This gane have the just one more trip vibe and you just dont feel it you lost hours in your life , really good game , there is no game like this on the appstore totally deserves 5 stars

Really good, but needs a few early-game improvements

Im probably 5-6 hours into this game and only now feel like Im getting somewhere. Ive spent most of this time figuring out the game mechanics. The game doesnt hold your hand, nor should it, but the game throws a ton of information at you from the start and doesnt clue you in as to how it affect you. You can take on jobs (which you are limited to two at a time) that you have no way of completing until you unlock a bunch of pathways to other cities, of which have their own requirements not revealed to you. It is fun and addicting however. It just needs a slower introductory on to things you have yet to discover, and a starters guide.

Unforgiving and frustrating

Its really hard to get started in this game. There is such a small margin of error at first that any mistake is impossible to recover from, and numerous restarts are necessary for most players. After a dozen or more restarts and several hours invested, I had to give up. Although it feels engaging at first, I cannot see how the game would be much fun, even if I were to get a successful game going.
