I jumped on this as soon as I found out it was released because I love the Autumn Dynasty series. And chances are, if you did as well, youll find Wizards & Wagons blend of real time battles while traveling and strategy within the towns quite comfortable. The mix of questing and trying to get the best deals on all your purchased/sold goods adds for quite a bit of depth in the strategy department. Upgrading and outfitting your wagon to take into battle adding another level to the strategy, especially as you get deeper into the game.
If youre not a strategy fan, or havent really clicked with merchant/trade games in the past, dont let that put you off - its delivered here in a very casual way (with quick to read one screen how-tos that pop up whenever something new is available), pretty much giving you the option to decide how much depth you feel comfortable with. There isnt really a set time in which you need to get enough money to find your way home. There are timed quests, but youre not required to accept them. Youre basically in charge of how difficult or easy the game is, without sacrificing gameplay mechanics. The developers have done a wonderful job here, and with no IAP - its a game thats VERY VERY EASY to recommend to strategy/defense/merchant games.
